Armed with Scissors, Duck adhesive, and a pile of teen fashion mags, Sophia and her friend Shelby Created a Monogram collage of the things they like*right now* Nothing makes me happier than to see 12 year olds cutting and pasting to theur hearts content! The top collage is Shelby's...very bright and cheery and pop art-ish and Sophie's is very subdued. Please note the word intense(she is very intense)..much like she dresses...and of course in true younger sister fashion Maddy had to create a collage of her own...Hers is the bottom one. Note that she named herself *Mad Dog* and has big love, for pink the color and *pink the word*. I have not a clue in the world why Usher is on her collage or that she even knows who he is...but that's art for ya...She was quite anxious for me to share the collages with my readers...So Enjoy!
these are awesome! what an incredible idea. I know my 5 yr.old would be all over this. she loves to 'craft'. and I agree...nothing makes a creative mamma happier!

These are great! I used to do something like this when I was a kid. We made notebooks for each other with collages and little word puzzles that we'd make up, mazes that we'd draw, and other little games. How cool!
